Washing our clothes in a community room laundry machine where someone had left BLEACH in one of the machines...all our white looked great, but it sure ruined some of my favorite colored shirts!

I had washed a load of delicates one afternoon, and since they couldn't go in the dryer, I threw all the wet clothes into my laundry basket, carried it up from the basement and sat it in the hall. I was distracted by my 6 month old and forgot about hanging them up. A couple hours later I went back to start hanging the items up, and when I got to the bottom, I found a HUGE camel-back cricket, smothered to death by my lovely delicate dresses! Obviously I screamed till my husband came running... I ended up washing the whole load again after i calmed down :)
